Legal Counsel/Business Consultant

Department/Company: Legal Compliance Department
Number of Vacant Position/s: 1

Requirements:

  1. A graduate of reputable law school and a member of Philippine Bar, with at least a year of legal experience, preferably in corporate law practice;
  2. Possesses excellent writing and legal research skills;
  3. Proficient and knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office and Google applications, including other productivity software; and,
  4. Hardworking, attentive to details, and relatable to all levels of the organization and its affiliates.
Job Description:
Legal Counsel
  1. Researches and prepares legal advice or memoranda on corporate, tax, labor, intellectual property, immigration matters, etc. for ICPH and its affiliate companies and partners;
  2. Drafts pleadings, corporate documents, and other legal documents;
  3. Negotiates, drafts, and reviews contracts and agreements, and provides expert and strategic legal advice to management;
  4. Represents ICPH and affiliates before the courts, administrative tribunals, regulatory bodies, and other fora;
  5. Gives updates on recently passed statutes, rules and regulations, and other issuances of relevant government instrumentalities and agencies, and jurisprudence;
  6. Does corporate administrative work including but not limited to preparation of notices of meetings of shareholders and of board meetings, minutes of meetings, and secretary’s certificates; and
  7. Performs other duties that maybe assigned from time to time.
New Business Development
  1. Build key stakeholder relationships;
  2. Ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities and identifying and increasing business or sales opportunities;
  3. Negotiate and facilitate closing of business registration clients;
  4. Understand the services and competitive advantage of ICPH and its affiliates;
  5. Manage contract negotiations; and
  6. Present an image that mirrors the values of the company and the needs of the clients.
Client Retention
  1. Grow and retain existing accounts by identifying or anticipating the needs of the clients 2. Offer existing and future clients of services that ICPH and its affiliates may render.
Management
  1. Submit progress reports twice a month;
  2. Management of inquiries (via email, phone and walk-in) while maintaining SLAs and ensure high conversion into deals;
  3. Strategically anticipate issues and estimate risks to identify proactive solutions that will eliminate or mitigate such issues or risks;
  4. Attract, develop, direct, motivate, and drive performance from the whole team; and,
  5. Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet targets.

Senior CPA Associate

Department/Company: AHC Certified Public Accountants Limited Co.

Requirements:

  1. Must be CPA
  2. With at least 3 years of similar experience with tax compliance services and General Accounting
  3. Good English written and oral communication skills
  4. Good client relationship skills
Job Description:
  1. Reviews entries in monthly books of accounts (cash receipts and disbursements books, general journal, purchases and sales journal, and general ledger), cashflow forecast relating to operating expenses, and management financial reports (income statement, cash flow statement and balance sheet) for all client companies assigned to him/her by the Manager;
  2. Reviews monthly, quarterly and annual computation of taxes and related tax returns (including all supporting schedules) applicable to them;
  3. Prepares the client’s reportorial requirements to the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), if applicable;
  4. Analyzes the client’s accounting process, identify issues and perform research on all solutions to ensure efficient workflows;
  5. Ensures the reconciliation of all work done in accordance with the general accounting principles and tax rules and regulations;
  6. Reviews the work of associate supervised by him/her
  7. Reports to his/her immediate supervisor (for output review before the same is finalized and submitted to client for final review;
  8. Works and communicates well with the client companies, and build good working relationships with them in order to earn the client’s trust and confidence;
  9. Responsible in knowing the whole accounting process by heart (i.e., from the initial preparation of reports to filing/payment of related tax returns) and be conscious of the important due dates for the submission of said pertinent reports, forms and tax returns to the client and the government agencies.

Accounting Associate

Department/Company: AHC Certified Public Accountants Limited Co.

Requirements:

  1. BS Accounting degree holder
  2. With at least 1 year experience in handling general accounting, accounts receivables, accounts payables and/or tax returns preparation
  3. Good English written and oral communication skills
Job Description:
  1. Day-to-day timely and responsive direct communication with clients, especially with general service-related concerns
  2. End-to-end bookkeeping process – sorting of documents, vouching, analyzing, summarizing of transactions, QNE data entry
  3. Initial preparation of reports according to related PFRS for second level review for submission to clients and other management special reports
  4. Analysis of tax implications of recorded transactions based on client data and ensuring that related outputs are in accordance with tax laws;
  5. Preparation of tax returns on a timely basis for review
  6. Timely filing of returns to the BIR
  7. Preparation of reports to be submitted to SEC, PEZA, and/or BOI
  8. Taking on special engagements, including annual tax return preparation, amendment of returns, prior period tax filing, official receipt, and billing statement/invoice preparation
  9. Analysis of client’s existing accounting process to identify issues that may affect efficient workflows
  10. Ascertain that client tax funding is updated, reconciled with finance, and reported to the client on a timely basis
  11. Escalation of important issues to immediate supervisor for timely resolution
  12. Other responsibilities related to the nature of the job that may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time
