Happy International Women’s Day (IWD) to women everywhere. Let’s march on sisters!
Sharing some photos of my activities yesterday:
Distributing red roses in Bukit Mertajam with Sdri YB Lydia, Sdr. YB Michael Tan and other BM Comrades. Also, a big thank you to Carol and Toh who came all the way from Penang island to join us! Solidarity!
I have been distributing red roses on every year’s IWD way before Pakatan Rakyat took over the State Government. Red rose signifies our passion and love and also femininity. It is also an international symbol of social democracy
After distributing about 1000 roses in Bukit Mertajam in the morning, I went down south to Gelang Patah, Johor to attend a function by the Wanita DAP there.
With Comrades from Wanita DAP Johor and other DAP leaders, Sdr Nga, Dr. Boo, Sdri. Nie Ching were there as well.
